My son Baylen has always been very interested in martial arts and he had
talked about wanting to start boxing, so naturally you start asking around and try to find the best coach for him. Danny had such a good reputation and honestly from the first moment in meeting Danny you could tell just from his demeanor and his approach to how he wants to train his athletes he make it much more about or even more about the development of the person just as the training itself. That meant a lot to me.
Beyond the technique of boxing which is obviously something that Baylen is learning from Danny, I think it’s that mentorship role that Danny’s able to play in Baylen’s life. I think as a father, especially as your son’s get older, you try to put them in environments where they’re going to get the same morals, value system, and structure instilled in them but from coaches and others that they quite honestly listen to as much or more than they do their own parents. So I take that very seriously, I wouldn’t put them with just anybody and Danny has been exceptional for him.
